How the Digital SAT is Scored
The Digital SAT (introduced in 2024 by College Board) is a multi-stage adaptive test consisting of two main modules for Reading & Writing and two modules for Mathematics. The scoring structure is scaled differently than raw totals:
1. Raw Score Counts:
- Reading & Writing: 54 active questions (excluding pretest questions).
- Mathematics: 44 active questions.
2. Section Scaling:
Each section is concorded to a scale from **200 to 800**. Standard adaptive routing scales these values based on item difficulty calibration parameters. Our calculator utilizes a representative linear calibration curve mapping raw scores to their official scaled concordances:
Reading Score = 200 + (Raw Correct / 54) * 600
Math Score = 200 + (Raw Correct / 44) * 600
Math Score = 200 + (Raw Correct / 44) * 600
